The Fabric of Nelson

"In 2013, Kate published The Fabric of Nelson, a book representing almost twenty years of her work as a Fabric Artist living in Nelson BC.

Over the years she has strolled the streets, parks and back alleys of this town capturing images and scenery to re-create in fabric and stitching. 

The picturesque town of Nelson rests on the shores of the West Arm of Kootenay Lake. It is a community made up of attractive Victorian homes mixed in with newer construction, intriguing back alleys, a charming and well preserved downtown, beautiful parks and a delightful mix of people, cultures and interests."
